Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your access to and use of the ILoveCV website, resume builder, CV builder, templates, Smart Assist, local storage, and PDF download features.

By accessing or using ILoveCV, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between you and ILoveCV, an individually operated online service managed by Kalp Patel from Visnagar, Gujarat, India.

Your access to or use of ILoveCV indicates your acceptance of these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors and users worldwide.

2. Eligibility and Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use ILoveCV. Individuals who have not reached the legal age of majority in their location should use the service only with permission from a parent, guardian, teacher, or responsible adult.

You represent that you are legally able to accept these Terms or have obtained appropriate permission.

3. Description of the Service

ILoveCV provides browser-based tools that may include:

  • A resume builder and CV builder.
  • Purpose-based forms and templates.
  • Resume and CV sample demonstrations.
  • Live browser previews.
  • Template and color customization.
  • Local browser saving.
  • Rule-based Smart Assist features.
  • A locally calculated resume-quality or ATS estimate.
  • Browser-based PDF generation and download.
  • Guides, FAQs, and resume-writing information.

Features may be added, changed, limited, replaced, or removed without prior notice.

4. Your Resume and CV Content

You retain responsibility for the information that you enter into ILoveCV and for documents that you create, download, publish, email, or submit to employers or other parties.

You agree that your content will:

  • Be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • Not falsely claim qualifications or employment.
  • Not infringe copyright, privacy, or other rights.
  • Not contain malicious code or illegal material.
  • Not include confidential data without permission.
  • Not contain another person's personal information without a lawful basis or appropriate consent.

ILoveCV does not verify the truth, accuracy, completeness, legality, or suitability of user-entered information.

5. Local Browser Storage

ILoveCV may save builder progress and documents using browser localStorage or similar browser technologies. This does not constitute guaranteed cloud storage, backup, or permanent document retention.

You are responsible for downloading and safely keeping copies of documents that are important to you.

ILoveCV is not responsible for data loss resulting from:

  • Clearing browser data.
  • Private or incognito browsing.
  • Changing browsers or devices.
  • Browser resets or software removal.
  • Storage limitations or corruption.
  • Device loss, damage, or unauthorized access.
  • Updates, technical errors, or incompatible browsers.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use ILoveCV to:

  • Break any applicable law or regulation.
  • Create fraudulent or deceptive documents.
  • Impersonate another individual or organization.
  • Submit false employment or academic information.
  • Upload or introduce malware or harmful scripts.
  • Interfere with the website or hosting infrastructure.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or networks.
  • Automate abusive requests or excessive traffic.
  • Copy or resell the entire service without permission.
  • Remove copyright, attribution, security, or technical notices where such notices are present.

7. Templates and PDF Documents

ILoveCV templates are provided as document-design tools. Users may use generated documents for personal applications, academic applications, employment, portfolio presentation, and other lawful professional purposes.

ILoveCV does not guarantee that:

  • A template will be accepted by every employer.
  • A PDF will display identically in every application.
  • Every template will meet every regional requirement.
  • A document will pass a particular ATS system.
  • A document will remain one page.
  • A generated file will be error-free.

You must review every downloaded document before using or submitting it.

8. Smart Assist and ATS Estimates

Smart Assist features may generate local, rule-based suggestions for summaries, skills, experience wording, document structure, and resume quality.

These tools are not professional human career advisers, recruiters, lawyers, or official applicant-tracking systems.

ATS scores or quality ratings shown by ILoveCV are estimates based on local rules. They are not official scores from an employer, recruiter, job portal, or ATS provider.

You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and approving suggestions before using them.

9. No Employment or Selection Guarantee

ILoveCV does not guarantee interviews, employment, admission, promotion, salary, government selection, academic acceptance, ATS approval, or any other outcome.

Hiring and selection decisions depend on many factors outside ILoveCV's control, including qualifications, competition, employer policies, background checks, interviews, local laws, and document requirements.

10. Intellectual Property

Except for user-entered content and third-party materials, the ILoveCV website, branding, interfaces, original code, written content, and original template designs are owned or controlled by ILoveCV or their respective rights holders.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable permission to use the service for lawful resume and CV creation.

You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, license, reverse-engineer, copy, or commercially exploit the complete ILoveCV service without written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

ILoveCV may rely on or link to third-party services, libraries, hosting providers, fonts, analytics, advertising, and technical tools.

Examples may include Cloudflare Pages, Google Fonts, html2pdf.js, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google AdSense, and content-delivery networks.

ILoveCV does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, terms, privacy practices, or conduct of independent third parties.

12. Current Free Access and Future Paid Features

ILoveCV is currently offered without a payment gateway. No payment is currently required for the main available builder features.

ILoveCV may introduce premium plans, subscriptions, one-time purchases, advertising-supported limits, or other paid features in the future.

Before charging users, applicable pricing, payment, cancellation, and refund terms should be displayed for the relevant paid service.

Promotional countdowns, launch pricing, feature access, and free availability may change. Displayed promotional information does not create a permanent entitlement unless expressly stated.

13. Availability and Changes

ILoveCV may be interrupted by maintenance, hosting outages, browser incompatibility, third-party failures, security issues, or technical errors.

The website or any feature may be modified, suspended, restricted, or discontinued at any time.

ILoveCV does not guarantee continuous, secure, fast, or error-free availability.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ILoveCV is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

No express or implied warranty is made regarding accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, security, availability, document acceptance, PDF quality, ATS compatibility, or employment results.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ILoveCV, its operator, and associated service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the service.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, missed opportunities, rejected applications, lost income, reputational harm, document errors, browser-storage loss, or third-party service failures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

16. Your Responsibility and Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from:

  • Your misuse of ILoveCV.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your fraudulent or unlawful content.
  • Your infringement of another person's rights.
  • Documents you create, submit, or distribute.

17. Suspension or Termination

Access to ILoveCV may be restricted or terminated if necessary to protect the website, users, third parties, legal rights, or technical infrastructure.

Because there is currently no user-account system, locally stored resume data may remain in your own browser until you remove it or clear site data.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Gujarat, India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Subject to any rights that cannot legally be limited, disputes relating to ILoveCV shall be subject to the competent courts having jurisdiction in Gujarat, India.

Users in other countries may also have mandatory legal rights under their local laws.

19. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when ILoveCV changes its features, pricing, advertising, analytics, account systems, payment methods, or legal practices.

Updated Terms become effective when published with a revised “Last updated” date, unless another effective date is stated.

Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms for future use of the service.
